George Sneddon. It emphasises that Christ existed before time, united with the Father and the Spirit in perfect holiness. Despite His divine glory, He entered human history, walking the earth, serving others, and ultimately suffering on the cross. The poem highlights Jesus as the Creator through whom all things were made—from nature’s beauty to all existence. It calls readers to recognise God’s love, give thanks for life and creation, and understand clearly that the One they worship is Jesus Christ, the eternal Word.
