Hello and welcome back to another installment of my column where I share my favorite travel accessories.

The first is AppleAirTags. I usually slip one in each of my suitcases when I’m flying. But they have a world of possibilities in terms of use. They are great to slip in your kids shoes or pockets if you want to keep an extra eye on them, and they’re also great on key rings and inside wallets. They’ll sync with an app on your phone and when you pull it up, you can see the location of each one. And even if you can see it on your phone, but you can’t quite find it—say in a drawer in your house somewhere—you can ping it so that makes a little noise and leads you right to the device.  Keep them in these cases. Or in this passport holder and have peace of mind on the whereabouts of your passport while traveling abroad. They really are so ingenious.

The next item I always travel with seems like a no-brainer: earbuds. obviously they’re a much needed item for flying. I do like apple AirPods. But I also keep a pair of wired ones and an adapter in my carry-on as well. I prefer them for longer flights—especially if I’m possibly going to sleep. AirPods can fall out of your ears and get lost in the plane seats, and nobody wants that. Also when they run out of battery and have to be charged back up, it’s nice to have an extra pair to use. Or if headphones are your thing, these are good as well.

Now that we do use Bluetooth earphones, however, it’s hard to watch a movie with someone while you’re traveling. iPhones and iPads only connect to one Bluetooth at a time—this frequency splitter solves that problem. Bring this with you and you and your partner or your kids can enjoy the same movie together.

I’ve already mentioned the importance of the magnetic portable chargers to bring with you on your travels, but I think this portable charger is very handy as well. It can be charged up via outlet and charge multiple devices at once. It’s great to use while flying or in your hotel room.

Do you have a long flight or a car trip planned? Headed to the beach and want to watch a movie or look at your phone without holding it the entire time? This little stand/clip is amazing. The magnet sticks to the back of your phone and the base can either be used as a stand or clipped to just about any surface. I will definitely be taking a few of these on my travels this summer. This one is also great—it’s a stand as well as a charger and will charge your iPhone, an Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time. It also folds out flat.

And how to keep all these organized? This pouch is perfect. It has different sections for different items and keeps all your cords neatly in place. No more fishing around in the bottom of your bag for your charger or AirPods.

One more little tech piece of wonder is this digital hand held scale. Not sure if your bag is too heavy to be checked without a fee after all the shopping you did on your trip? Weigh it easily before you get to the airport with this little scale. I use mine at home every time I’m headed somewhere, and then bring it with me also. It has saved me many times from the dreaded suitcase-unpacking and item transfer at the airport.

That’s all for this week. Hope you enjoy these items!
