One cat valiantly fought for its life and narrowly escaped during a frightening confrontation with a coyote.

Life is a precious and fragile gift that must be handled with care and dignity. When someone is in a life-or-death situation, instinct will naturally kick in. People will do whatever it takes – run, hide or fight - to survive whenever their life is threatened. 

The same goes for members of the furry and four-legged community as well, as one video on YouTube perfectly displays. A cat fought and scrambled for its life when it came up against a coyote.

Movies and television shows portray cats and dogs as natural enemies. For one reason or another, cats and dogs may avoid each other, opting to spend their time in different ways. However, their interactions don’t often result in deadly fights for survival. 

But when a house cat encounters a much larger animal, like a coyote, it’s a much different story. The fight was caught on a home's surveillance camera. 

The short clip begins as the cat comes screaming around the corner with the coyote hot on its tail. The coyote even appears to try and take a bite of the cat’s tail. The cat, not willing to give up and surrender its life to the coyote, jumps and lunges at the animal’s neck. 

Luckily, for the much smaller cat, there is a lawn chair of some kind present on the porch. The feline uses the outdoor furniture to its advantage, hiding underneath the chair. The coyote has difficulty reaching the cat.

But the cat is not in the clear yet. Things get much worse before they get better for the frightened feline.

The cat begins climbing up the porch’s railings trying desperately to escape from the coyote, but it’s pulled back twice. 

Eventually, the cat manages to climb, getting away from the coyote threatening its life.

It is always entertaining to watch a good ice skating routine. Check out this silver medal performance from Meryl Davis and Charlie White to Michael Jackson hit.

As the pair is announced, they enter the ice rink, preparing for a stellar performance. The two are focused and begin their routine. They have intensity and poise as Charlie skates around Meryl. He lifts her effortlessly and spins her on the ice. 

The song, Billy Jean, is remixed to a slower version, and the two have such focus and chemistry. The moves that they compete with seem so smooth and easy, but these are incredibly high-level and challenging to learn. This is what makes their performance a medal-winning one.

Suddenly, the song begins to pick up, and their lifts begin to wow the crowd even more. They take us on a journey and show us how powerful their moves are as a team. They twirl in unison, move with grace, and have their own special flare. 

It is great to see their heart in every motion. They skate with passion. It takes so much trust to do these moves together, and the two of them have built a relationship as teammates. Individually they are wonderful skaters, but I would argue that together they are phenomenal. 

The two end with Meryl in a split, lifted above Charlie’s head, spinning around multiple times. It is powerful!

In Scripture, we see the concept multiple times of community. We all have different gifts to bring to the table that are meant to be used together. When we encourage each other, we build one another up, and the church body can be more effective for the kingdom of God. 

May their performance excite believers that we can be powerful together with the help of the Holy Spirit. 

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5

One little girl was determined not to miss her preschool graduation even when she experienced paralysis in her right arm.

Unfortunately, life is not a fair or easy experience. Sadly, some people receive a more difficult hand than others, even the most vulnerable and innocent members of society aren’t exempt from those harsh realities. Seeing children afflicted with debilitating diseases or conditions is always heartbreaking.

A video posted on TikTok shows a young lady, Estella, bravely fighting her way through her preschool graduation even though she was experiencing paralysis in her right arm.

She did not want to miss accepting her diploma.

Estella has Alternating hemiplegia of childhood (AHC), a rare neurological disorder. The National Institutes of Health describes the condition as causing “recurrent episodes of paralysis (hemiplegia) that involve one or both sides of the body, multiple limbs, or a single limb.”

The site also adds that these attacks of paralysis “may affect different parts of the body at different times and may be brief or last for several days.”

The individual who posted the video in the caption indicated that they did not expect the child to make it through the ceremony. However, the little girl was bound and determined to graduate with her class.

“I saw the determination on her face during that entire program,” the caption reads. “It was like she was willing her body just to hold on a little longer so she could have her moment.”

The caption’s writer also mentions how they reacted when someone who knows Estella’s story began clapping for her during the ceremony.

“I barely held it together,” the caption states. “It was such a small act of encouragement and support that I was so grateful for.”

What a brave young woman! Congratulations on your recent graduation, Estella!

One country musician and his wife suffered a devastating tragedy with the loss of their 3-year-old son and have now found a way to deal with their pain and help others grieving.

Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. Children add so much joy and happiness to life. But for a parent, no pain is worse than losing a child. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to country singer Granger Smith and his wife, Amber.

Granger and Amber’s three-year-old son, River, fell into the family’s pool and drowned about five years ago. What a devastating loss that would have struck the heart of anyone with immense pain and sorrow. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Granger and Amber mentioned how they are using that experience and hurt into a mission to help others going through a dark valley.

Granger recently wrote a book about losing his son and compared life to a river. He mentioned that similar to a river life takes unexpected twists and turns. But what happens when that river meets a waterfall? he asked. 

“What happens when your happiness goes off a waterfall, and you can’t control the flow of your river?” Granger said. “What happens when you can’t choose happiness because you literally have no other choice in life? You’re at the rock bottom of your river. That’s what ended up happening to me in a place of total surrender. The only thing I could do was completely surrender.”

Granger added that writing a book about his late son and sharing his story, which he hopes will help others struggling and hurting, is a way for him to find healing. 

Granger also talked about how his faith grew and how he learned to surrender everything to God after River’s passing.

“It was a moment of realizing that there are things in life that you cannot control,” Granger said. “And if you surrender that, if you can completely surrender that and say, ‘God, take, take control. You have planned this. You have purposed this. I can’t affect this in any way.’ There is such peace and rest in handing that over.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me.”

One man went to great lengths, incorporating a duet to a medley of love songs, to surprise the woman he loves with a proposal.

Weddings are lovely ceremonies where two people promise to spend the rest of their lives together. The ceremony, reception and honeymoon are occasions where cherished, long-lasting memories are created. 

The proposal is another place, before exchanging vows and saying, “I do,” where memories are often generated. A video posted on YouTube shows the unique way one singer asked another, the love of his life, to marry him.

The video begins with one man explaining what is about to take place. Dani and Colton are singers with whom he has collaborated with several times. Dan and Colton, the video’s narrator explains, are also in love. After their performance, Colton will ask for Dani’s hand in marriage!

Accordingly, Dani and Colton sing a mashup of some of the most beloved and classic love songs. They start off their impressive performance and medley of hits with Bryan Adams’ “Heaven.” 

Next, Dani and Colton seamlessly transition into another classic tune, this one from the popular Disney film, “The Lion King,” Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Bruno Mars’ “Beautiful” also makes an appearance, with Colton showing off his impressive falsetto. 

Bryan Adams’ “Heaven” isn’t the only song from the 1980s that pops up in the 3-minute video. Dani and Colton belt out the lyrics of “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. No love song mashup would be complete without that timeless track!

But soon enough, the moment arrives when Colton gets down on one knee, taking Dani entirely by surprise.

“That took way longer than I thought,” Colton says as he takes a knee.

Dani is unsure of what to make of the situation. 

“Will you marry me?” Colton blurts out as he shows Dani the ring.

Dani answers in a less-than-expected way, not giving a definitive answer at first.

“Are you joking?” Dani says.

They are both a little confused as to what hand the engagement ring is supposed to go on as Dani finally answers with, “Of course.”

One young man took the extraordinary and caring step of carrying his teacher, who was confined to a wheelchair, during a class outing.

Teachers have a monumental impact on society. Educators touch the lives of young people every single day. They are literally teaching the next generation, molding and shaping the minds of tomorrow. What teachers say and do can have a massive impact on the world.

Educators are used to helping students, going out of their way to assist those in their classroom. In addition to their time, teachers often invest their own money into their classroom and their students by purchasing necessary learning materials. 

However, a video posted on social media shows that when a teacher was in need, a group of students came through when he needed assistance.

The short video on Instagram begins with a student literally carrying a teacher over his shoulder. The text, which rests at the top of the frame, reads, “POV: When your teacher’s wheelchair won’t roll through the sand.”

The caption included with the video indicates that the touching move was done so that the teacher and the students could remain together during a field trip.

“A heartwarming moment as students rally around their teacher and make sure that the team can stay together, no matter what!” the caption reads.

Other students stand near the student with the teacher, almost as if they are monitoring the situation in case the student has any trouble with the teacher.

The young man with the teacher on his shoulder then proceeds down the dirt-covered trail with relative ease.

It’s clear that those students appreciate and care for their teacher. When they saw an opportunity to return the favor and be a literal shoulder to lean on, they did not hesitate.

One man exhibited extraordinary kindness when he surprised a woman with a new cell phone.

It would be hard for most people to function today without having a cell phone within a few inches of their outstretched hand. Cell phones keep us constantly connected to popular social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Sending a quick text to a friend or family member can be completed in seconds. Cell phones have essentially become an extension of most people’s hands. 

However, as a video posted on social media shows, cell phones may also be the only connection to help and the outside world for some. One man seemed to know and understand this when he showed great concern and kindness for an elderly woman with a broken cell phone.

The clip begins with the woman informing the man that she had left her phone two days ago. She would now like to pick up her phone, which she desperately hopes is repaired. 

Unfortunately, the man behind the counter tells her that her phone is broken beyond repair. After hearing this news, the woman begins to panic, unsure what she will do now.

“I can’t imagine,” she says. “I live alone, I have nobody. I have from time to time to call an ambulance or to a hospital.”

But things take an unexpected turn. The gentleman behind the counter has already come up with a solution to her problem. He places a brand-new phone on the counter, informing the woman it's hers. 

“I know, ma’am,” he says. “That’s why I can give this phone to you.”

The woman is shocked by the announcement. She states she doesn't have the money to pay for the new, expensive phone. But she does not have to pay, the man behind the counter has an answer for her.

“This phone is for you from good people,” he tells the woman.

But she wants to know who would do such a thing for her. Who would give her a brand-new phone, she asks. 

“Let me be this good person for you, OK?” the man behind the counter tells her.

She is overwhelmed by the act of kindness. She begins tearing up, wiping away the tears.

Three sisters, separated when they were babies, managed to reconnect later in life and now live only minutes away from one another in Texas.

Life is an experience full of trying, often heartbreaking decisions. When it comes to making choices, one can only use the best information available to them at the time and then hope for a satisfactory outcome. 

A clip posted on YouTube explains how a couple in Colorado, more than 30 years ago, had to make one of those life-changing and heart-wrenching decisions. After Kathleen and Lee used a sperm donor and became pregnant with triplets, they were unable to care for all three children.

So, because of their financial situation and other personal challenges, the family put two of the girls up for adoption. The couple kept and raised Rikki Jump. However, Kendall and Julianne Scavo were adopted. Both were raised by a couple who lived only 40 miles from their sister, Rikki.

As the video states, Rikki grew up aware of Kendall and Julianne’s existence. But Kendall and Julianne had no idea they had another sister out there until one Christmas morning when their parents told them about Rikki. 

This Christmas Day revelation resulted in the three sisters getting to know one another, eventually becoming pen pals. At 11 years old, the three sisters met for the first time in a mall. In an appearance on The Today Show, the sisters described how that first in-person encounter felt. 

“A lot like a puzzle piece sliding into place,” Rikki said. “I had been a pretty sad kid up to that point, just because of the tragic loss of my father, so it was like the first reprieve I had from that in a long time.”

Now, after a series of unexpected events, the young women have been brought together once again. They all live in Austin, Texas, within minutes of one another.

The women added that they now see one another several times a week. Rikki, Julianne and Kendall have even started a podcast on which they share their unique story.

Actor Kirk Cameron mentioned how he refused to kiss an actress who wasn’t his wife on screen and the reaction he received because of his move.

The entertainment industry continually produces films that espouse views diametrically opposed to the Christian belief system. Hollywood is not known for being a friendly place to Christians and people of faith. In fact, some would argue that it’s very hostile to Christians and those who hold traditional views on things like marriage. 

In an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Kirk Cameron talked about making his faith-based film “Fireproof.” The former Growing Pains star went through the film’s plot and how the movie is centered around the relationship between a husband and wife. 

However, he also added how he ran into a bit of trouble when it came to filming one particular scene in the film, which involved him kissing an actress.

“I said, ‘you know what? This is something that I stood at an altar and said that I would only do with my wife,” Kirk said. “And call it make-believe or not, I know how this would make me feel if I saw my wife doing this.”

So, Kirk mentioned that they devised a clever workaround that did not result in him kissing someone other than his wife.

“And so we re-did things, flew my wife out,” Kirk said. “She put on a wig that matched the actress’s hair in the movie, and she wore that dress. We shot the scene in a silhouette so you couldn’t tell, but when I’m kissing my wife in the movie, I’m actually kissing my wife, Chelsea.”

Kirk stated that some people got upset about arranging for his wife to come out and act as his wife in the film during that pivotal kissing scene. Some people, Kirk said, “thought that was such an inconvenience to the production and an offense to them personally.”

Nevertheless, despite what some may have thought, Kirk held firm to the vows made when he and his wife said, “I do.”

“I don’t want to do anything that is going to potentially injure my marriage,” Kirk said.

A group of athletically gifted women competing on the world stage captured a bronze medal with their stunning routine.

To be an athlete competing at the highest level possible requires massive amounts of determination and dedication. Athletes put in hours and hours of meticulous and intense practice working on their craft, going over and fine-tuning every detail. Most put their blood, sweat and tears into reaching their goal.

A clip posted on YouTube shows a group of female athletes reacting during the moment when all their hard work, dogged practice and extreme dedication paid off in a big way.

In the video, Team USA prepares to enter the pool during the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. The women are competing in the artistic swimming event.

As the commentators point out, there was a lot riding on this routine from the United States. Spain and Italy had already secured their medals. Whether the USA would qualify for a medal or not rested on their competency in their upcoming routine. 

However, before they enter the swimming pool, a memorable and classic song starts, Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal.” Once they enter the pool, the athletes come together in a big way, stunning one of the commentators right from the get-go.

In the opening seconds of the routine, the group of women lifts one member several feet up out of the pool.

“Such high risk,” one commentator states. “Incredible balance.”

From that point forward, the women, in complete synchronicity, pull off what is essentially a dance number while underwater. There is even a point when the women are upside down, with their feet and legs sticking out of the water. Their movements are timed perfectly. No one ever misses a step. 

After pulling off their intense and demanding routine, the women must sit and wait for a minute or two. But when their final scores are revealed, which results in a bronze medal, it is pure joy and happiness!

One man found a unique, moving and touching way to incorporate his girlfriend's late father in his wedding proposal.

Wedding ceremonies are usually brimming with emotion, with people shedding tears as they watch people vow to remain together through the good and the bad. However, the young man must pop the question before the bride can pick out her dress and walk down the aisle.

A video posted on TikTok shows when a man asked his significant other if she wanted to get hitched. The man used an audio recording of the to-be bride’s late father as part of the proposal.

The clip begins with the man and woman sitting on a porch looking at a television. Seconds into the video, the audio recording of the woman’s father, who had just died a few days prior, begins playing on the TV.

“Son, you’ve got my permission, as much as I can give it to you in the short time I have left on this earth,” the man said. “I know you love Emily, and I know you’ll take care of her. God bless you, and you have my blessing, son.”

About halfway through the recording, the young man gets down on one knee as his soon-to-be-fiancée, who has been moved to tears, watches the clip. She turns and comes face-to-face with the young man ready to ask the question.

In a low, calm tone, the man tells her he knew how much it meant to her for him to get her father’s permission. He asks and she is overwhelmed, unable to speak, only able to get out “Yes, yes.” 

After the initial shock subsides, the young woman wants to know, “How’d you get that?”

What a sweet and touching move on that young man’s part. May those two have all the happiness in the world.

Oliver Anthony has gotten a ton of attention on social media lately for his song “Rich Men North of Richmond,” but before a performance, the singer read a passage of Scripture.

Thanks to the pervasive nature of technology, gaining attention and worldwide fame is much easier than in decades past. With a few hundred retweets on the site formerly known as Twitter and shares on Facebook, someone previously unknown can become a household name. Most people refer to this as "going viral."

Oliver Anthony, a young man from Richmond, Virginia, knows exactly what it means to go viral. Oliver's original song "Rich Men North of Richmond," gained massive popularity on social media. The song went viral, being shared and retweeted across social media sites.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Oliver reads Psalm 37:12-20. As he reads through the passage of Scripture, Oliver becomes noticeably emotional.

"But the wicked will perish. Though the Lord's enemies are like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed, and they will go up in smoke," Oliver reads.

Following the conclusion of his reading, many in the crowd shout and yell. They also show their approval by applauding the young man.

The clip concludes with the camera showing the massive crowd. It looks like hundreds have gathered to hear the young man.

After the song went viral, Oliver posted a message on social media, writing how he was shocked by the overwhelmingly positive response to his tune.

"Im (sic) still in a state of shock at the outpouring of love I've seen in the comments, messages and emails. I'm working to respond to everyone as quickly as possible," the post reads.

The country tune has a populist message about excessive taxes and working long hours for less-than-optimal pay. It quickly shot up to the top spot on the iTunes chart, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Following the explosion in popularity of the track "Rich Men North of Richmond" and interest in the man behind the song, hundreds attended a performance of his. But before his performance, the young man shared the Word of God. He read a passage from the Bible.

Psalm 37:12-13 “The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes on him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.”

Country music superstar Tim McGraw had some sweet, kind words for a young woman who made him a piece of jewelry.

Athletes, actors, musicians and anyone in a prominent and highly visible position hold massive influence over others, especially children. Their words and actions can impact others who look up to them. Often, a little kindness and love from a recognizable actress or musician can be a lasting, unforgettable memory for someone.

Tim McGraw’s actions and words did just that for a young woman and her father.

Berkeley and her dad, Mason, had tickets to one of Tim’s upcoming concerts. Ahead of the concert, Berkley came up with a unique idea. She wanted to make the “Live Like You Were Dying” singer a bracelet. 

But this would not be just any piece of jewelry. Berkeley and her dad personalized the bracelet. The two included the initials of Tim’s wife and three daughters. However, while they spent time making the bracelet, there was no guarantee they would be able to give it to him.

But things soon took an unexpected turn.

“We actually got the opportunity to do a meet-and-greet with Tim before the concert, which is like a mind blow and so special,” Mason said. “We were standing kind of up on a balcony. And Tim, we didn’t realize, but Tim was gonna, was walking by us to go into his dressing room or changing room.”

Mason mentioned that he, at first, didn’t see the “Over and Over” singer, but Tim spotted Berkeley.

“And I looked to my left, and he had stopped and was kneeling down with Berkeley and was talking to her,” Mason said. “And Berkeley just had the bracelet and was like, ‘I made you something.’”

Tim thanked her and accepted the young woman’s gift. 

But then during the show, Tim, while wearing the bracelet, gave Berkeley a shout-out. He told the crowd that Berkeley had made the bracelet, especially for him. 

“So, thank you, Berkeley,” Tim said. “I really appreciate it. Thank you so much, sweetie.”

Tim’s kindness and appreciation are something that Berkley and her father, Mason, will remember for the rest of their lives.

A whole pool of people showed their support for a young man as he stepped out and tried something new for the first time.

In life, most new experiences come with anxiety and increased blood pressure. Most people have at least a tiny fear of the unknown. Why wouldn’t we? That only makes sense, right? We’ve never done this particular thing before. How will it go? What will happen? Will it be painful? Will I fail and make a fool of myself?

These and other questions are just some thoughts that start to swirl around in someone’s mind when they contemplate trying something new and unknown. Additionally, the fears those questions represent are why individuals often hold themselves back from trying or experiencing something else.

A video posted on YouTube shows the difference a little bit of encouragement and support can make when these fears arise. 

The clip shows a pool of people enjoying themselves as they try to escape the heat and humidity. In the distance, dead center in the frame is a diving board. Several people stand near the board, waiting for their turn to jump off the diving apparatus. 

Seconds into the short video, a young man, a 5-year-old, walks out onto the edge of the diving board. Text in the video informs viewers that this is the first jumping attempt for the child. It would only make sense that the child was feeling a bit apprehensive about leaping from such a height.

But then something unexpected happens! 

Almost as if they sensed the child was considering nixing his jump, everyone in the pool began clapping and cheering for the young man. Following this tremendous show of support, the child jumps, even showing a bit of athleticism on the way down.

Check out this video of students reading emotional letters to their teachers, sharing about how they changed their lives.

At the beginning of the video, the teachers come into the room, sit on a couch, and are asked if they know why they are there. And they have no idea. Little do they know, they are about to be surprised by students who have written them a letter of love and appreciation.

“I invited my radio teacher, Joe Bryant,” one girl says to the camera. “I wrote Joe a letter because Joe is such an impactful and amazing person in my life.”

This young woman’s teachers told her that she had a voice made for radio, and that really had an impact on her. “For my whole life, I’ve always been insecure about my voice. And I was told a lot growing up that my voice was too low for a girl. And I was mimicked for having a speech impediment. Because of you, Joe, I learned to be less insecure about my voice and not care about what other people said.”

She continued: “I wanna take this opportunity to explain to you how you’ve impacted my life. My freshman year, I was going through some very hard times with my mental health, but you changed this. You saved my life, Joe. And without you, I doubt I would be here right now.”

Other students told stories in their letters about being bullied and how they found a safe haven in their teacher’s classrooms and would love spending time talking to them. They shared how their teacher’s guidance and attention made such an impact in their lives and how appreciative they were to be their student.

“Teaching is a really, really hard job, and you rarely get to hear that from your students,” one teacher says after watching the emotional video of her student reading her letter. “This is why I became a teacher. This is everything to me.”

After being rescued from a slaughterhouse in Asia, one animal eventually found a happy, loving forever home.

It’s often said that dogs are man’s best friends. They are dependable, loyal and caring animals. However, sadly, humans can mistreat man’s best friend. Instead of providing them with the kindness and love they deserve, the dogs receive cruelty or even neglect. 

A clip posted on YouTube shows the long, heartbreaking and tear-jerking path to happiness for one furry, four-legged creature, Lavery. As the clip points out, Lavery’s story began in Southeast Asia. Lavery was saved from a slaughterhouse for dogs in Cambodia. 

People with a global animal welfare charity came across Lavery, who was understandably shy and scared, locked in a cage at the Asian slaughterhouse. After shutting down the facility and rescuing all the dogs found at the slaughterhouse, Lavery began a new life in the United States.

The frightened pup was placed in a San Diego foster home. This adjustment would take some time for Lavery.

“He was so scared and shy, with his tail between his legs, and shaking when we picked him up,” Lavery’s foster mom said. 

Days later, Lavery started to adjust. He became more confident with his new surroundings as his tail raised a little during walks.  

He eventually wanted a friend, trying on several occasions to play with the couple’s older dog. Unfortunately, Lavery’s attempts were, for the most part, in vain. 

After two weeks in foster care, Lavery was like a brand-new dog. That scared and nervous energy evaporated into a playful and fun-loving animal. 

Soon after the dog turned a huge corner, Lavery’s foster mom mentioned that they received an application, which sounded perfect for the rescued pup. A family of two adults was looking for a second pet, a playmate for their dog, Larry.

“It’s almost too good to be true,” Lavery’s foster mom said.

Ryan and Karen instantly fell in love with Lavery and decided to adopt him, adding Lavery to their loving home. While Lavery was initially nervous and unsure about his new home, he soon warmed up. By the end of the first day in his new home, he was sound asleep, between Ryan’s legs.

Lavery may not have started off in the best situation, but he eventually found his loving forever home.

Rescue crews in the air and on the ground worked together to find a young child who had gone missing in an Ohio cornfield.

As anyone lucky enough to have become a parent will confirm, it is life’s greatest blessing. Children bring so much joy and happiness to a parent’s life. However, their inquisitive nature and penchant for exploration can cause parents to experience considerable anxiety and worry.

A clip posted on YouTube details the dread and fear 3-year-old Ilya’s parents experienced when they first discovered he was missing. However, that same video also displays the precise moment when the young man was found safe in the field. 

In the moments after young Ilya’s disappearance, his parents were understandably frightened and struck with overwhelming panic.

“It was unreal,” Bella Dunin said. “When I first heard that he was missing, I got so stressed that I think I went numb.”

But, as the video points out, Ilya’s parents reached out to the state police for help. Soon after they called the authorities, informing them of their missing child, 100 police and volunteers joined the search for the 3-year-old boy.

Thankfully, after searching for the young man for nearly three hours, Ilya had been spotted. A helicopter pilot located the young man in a beanfield. The clip details how the crews on the ground and in the air worked with one another. The pilot in the copter directed people on the ground right to the child’s location.

Thank the Lord! A potentially devastating disaster had been avoided.

After people on the ground reached the child, they gave the pilot a thumbs up, signaling the young man was OK.

There were no injuries to the child reported. But he had somehow managed to lose his shoes. He was also said to be “soaking wet,” according to the video.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.”

A young man born with a physical disability is not allowing his impairment to slow down his development.

Many people have the nasty habit of looking at someone and making instant, snap judgments. This is especially true when it comes to those with disabilities. Solely based on either their physical or mental disabilities, people will try to gauge what someone can do before even getting to know them. 

But, as has been shown, time and again, people can surprise and achieve more than many thought possible. Once again, that is true for people with disabilities and, for one young man in particular. 

A short video on YouTube shows a blind toddler making his way down a set of stairs. As the narrator in the video points out, these are Vinny’s first steps down a flight of stairs. 

Vinny, as he heads down the steps, takes it slow and easy. He uses a special cane, which is designed specifically for blind toddlers. The cute little guy uses his right hand to hold onto and guide the cane. He uses his left hand to feel and touch the railing. 

Who would have ever thought that a blind child could maneuver a flight of stairs by themselves? But apparently, the device used by Vinny allows the child to walk around without the assistance of someone else. 

Vinny, even at his young age, displayed a lot more courage than most people on an average day. He refuses to let his physical disability keep him from learning how to do for himself and to act independently. 

As the child makes it all the way down the steps, he beats the cane hard against the floor, ensuring that there are no more steps in front of him. Vinny’s huge accomplishment is met with cheers.

What a beautiful moment of a child doing, likely, what most thought to be impossible for someone his age.
