Little Girl Expects Cookies but Gets an Even Better Surprise

A little girl expects cookies but gets an even better surprise! Little Macy could hardly contain her excitement as she held her favorite stuffed soldier close to her heart. The soft, worn toy had her daddy's picture on it, and it was her constant companion while he was away on deployment. Every day, she would ask her mom for cookies – her favorite treat – with those bright eyes and sweet little voice. But today, something special was brewing, and Maci was about to receive a surprise far better than any cookie.

The camera captured Maci in her innocence, holding her soldier stuffy and asking her mom again for her beloved cookies. But her mom had something different planned, a surprise Maci couldn’t even imagine. "Okay, Maci, what kind of surprise are you going to get?” Her mom asked with a smile, leading Macy away from the kitchen and outside, where the real magic awaited. Of course, Maci’s response was, “Cookies!”

Maci’s eyes widened in disbelief as they approached a giant box over six feet tall and wrapped in colorful paper. Her excitement bubbled over as she looked at the towering gift, thinking it must be the biggest cookie in the world. Giggling, she eagerly began tearing at the paper, sure that this was her dream come true.

But as the wrapping fell away, what Maci uncovered wasn’t a cookie at all. It was her daddy – the very same face from her treasured stuffed soldier, only now standing before her in person, home from deployment. Maci’s laughter turned to joyful shrieks as she flung herself into her father’s arms, unable to believe he was finally home.

The joy on Maci’s face was priceless, and her dad’s smile showed how much he had missed his little girl. That precious moment was beautifully captured on camera, warming the hearts of everyone who saw it. It was a powerful reminder of life's simple joys and the irreplaceable love we have for our family.

Moments like these fill us with gratitude, not just for the grand surprises but for the everyday blessings we often take for granted. Maci may have been expecting a cookie, but what she received was far sweeter – the gift of her father’s embrace. Thank God for moments like this that remind us of the incredible blessings in our lives.

James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."

Selena Gomez Shocks High School Volleyball Team by Showing Up at Their Game

For one high school volleyball team in Colorado, a dream they never expected to come true became a reality when Selena Gomez showed up at their game. Telluride Middle/High School students had playfully created a sign asking the superstar to perform the national anthem at one of their home games. They had no idea their request would lead to an unforgettable encounter with the singer and actress.

The sign, held up by the volleyball team, read, “Selena, will you sing the national anthem at our game?” They weren’t expecting her to respond—after all, how often does a pop star come to high school games? But little did they know Selena was in town for a weekend festival. She saw the sign and did something incredibly kind and sweet.

Selena showed up in the gym and was met with stunned silence. No one could believe she was there! It took a few moments for everyone to realize that the woman walking in was, in fact, the very star they had invited. From the video, the silence quickly turned into an eruption of excitement. The girls shouted, “Selena!” Within seconds, students and fans rushed to greet her. Selena not only said hello to the girls but stayed for quite a while, happily interacting with the teens and taking photos with them.

Even though Selena didn’t end up singing the national anthem, none of the teens minded in the least. Her presence alone seemed to make the day special.

In a post on social media later, Selena shared her joy in being able to surprise the team. “They asked!! Couldn’t help it, it’s my first time in Telluride!” she captioned the pictures of her visit. Her warmth and kindness shone through, giving these teens a memory they will forever cherish.

Selena’s visit was heartwarming for these teenagers when a simple act of kindness brightened their day. What started as a simple request on Instagram became an incredible moment these teens won't soon forget. Not every day, a pop star comes to a high school volleyball game. Thank God for unexpected moments that remind us of the importance of making time for others.

96-Year-Old Has the Best Birthday Celebration at the Ballpark

You’ll never believe how this 96-year-old grandpa has the best birthday celebration at the ballpark. When he shared his simple wish, his granddaughter Courtney rallied the family to make it happen. The wish was simple: to spend the day watching his favorite baseball team at the South Padres game with his family. But the bigger wish was to see himself on the jumbotron.

As they arrived at the stadium, one family member proudly held a huge sign that read, “Happy 96th Birthday, Grandpa.” It didn’t take long for the excitement to spread among the crowds who saw the sign. Fans started cheering as the group made their way to their seats, giving Grandpa many birthday wishes to have a great birthday.

His granddaughter Courtney captured it all on camera, too. “It’s amazing to witness the goodness of people,” Courtney wrote alongside the video, capturing the overwhelming kindness from everyone around them. As the game progressed, many things made the day even more special. One woman caught a foul ball and didn’t hesitate to give it to the special birthday boy instead of keeping it. Of course, there was still one final wish that everyone hoped would come true–to see Grandpa on the big screen. It wasn’t too long before Grandpa saw himself up there. He couldn't help but smile and wave!

All in all, it was the perfect birthday celebration. This elderly gentleman got to spend the day with his loved ones, take home a foul ball as a keepsake, and finally get his wish to be on the big screen. Stories like this remind us how beautiful life is when we celebrate with loved ones. It’s not the things that matter but making memories together.

Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

99-Year-Old Woman Becomes High School Graduate 8 Decades After Leaving School

A 99-year-old woman becomes a high school graduate eight decades after leaving school. Georgia McGarry never got the chance to hold a diploma with her class of 1944. Instead, she left school to help support her family by working at a pharmacy during World War II. But, the dream of graduating high school has always stayed with her. She knew supporting her family was more important and sacrificed her academic ambitions.

Her dream of graduating never faded; it was something she longed to complete, and recently, to a special friend, her dream finally happened. A ceremony was held in Georgia’s honor. Surrounded by friends and family, she was presented with her diploma. She was so thankful her friends and family witnessed the special moment.

“It means an awful lot because that’s been a long time ago to 1944,” she remarked, expressing her heartfelt gratitude.

This milestone moment was made possible thanks to her sweet friend Marie, who had worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Georgia’s long-held dream came true. Marie said, “It was something she regretted her whole life and being 99-years-old, I thought it was important she get her diploma.

Georgia’s story is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to pursue our dreams and that God’s plans are always in his perfect timing. As Psalm 33:11 reminds us, “But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.”

Georgia’s dreams remind us to never give up hope on a dream, even if its eight decades in the making. Her diploma represents more than academic achievement; it’s a dream come true and proof that age really is just a number. We’re never too old to achieve our dreams.

Psalm 33:11 reminds us, “But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Woman Shares Profound, Moving Advice After Unexpected Loss of Husband

A woman shares heartfelt and profoundly moving advice after the unexpected loss of her husband. Karen McNulty, a 37-year-old Seaford, New York teacher, is sharing her story of loss and the powerful lessons she has learned from it. She went from planning something special for her sixth wedding anniversary to planning Dominic McNultly’s funeral.

Dominic, who was 40, began feeling sick, and Karen initially thought it was just a stomach bug. Seemingly out of nowhere, Dominic’s condition rapidly deteriorated. Karen had also noticed his arm had gone limp and finally convinced him to go to the hospital. But the next day, on their sixth wedding anniversary, Dominic passed away.

The suddenness of Dominic’s death was shocking. Karen later learned that he had succumbed to multiple organ failure caused by sepsis—a severe and often deadly response to infection in his intestines.

After grieving her husband’s death, Karen shares gut-wrenching advice, but her wisdom shines through. “I want people to know that life is short and to be good to one another,” Karen said. With her heartfelt advice, she wants people to understand the importance of cherishing every moment and being present with their loved ones. “Show up every day for the ones you love. Don’t take those small moments for granted. Just be good to one another,” she added.

Karen went on to share how she hasn’t moved on from the loss. She shared how his toothbrush is still in the bathroom, and his clothes are still in the laundry room. She says her life is gripped by the reality she’s still waiting for him to walk through the front door.

“Each day I wake up, and I get out of bed for my son, for our son, and I try to give him the best life possible because I know that’s what my husband would want.” She adds, “You know if you find love and can have a family, that’s the best thing in the world.

Her story reminds us just how precious life is, to hold close to those we cherish, and to appreciate the ordinary moments that make life special. Through her grief, Karen offers a powerful reminder to embrace every moment with love and gratitude, for life is precious and fleeting.

What This Mom Found After Letting Her Daughter Use Her Phone Will Move You to Tears

What this mom found after letting her daughter use her phone will move you to tears. When Delphine Expert handed her five-year-old daughter, Zoey, her phone to record “treasures” from their walk, she had no idea that the real treasure would turn out to be herself.

Zoey, who has autism, was nonverbal until recently. Over the last year, she explored the world through music, ski lessons, and art and started to speak a few simple words. Zoey’s ability to communicate has blossomed, and she now enjoys expressing herself more, but it’s still a challenge.

Delphine posted a video online that Zoey recorded during a walk. The video shows Zoey’s perspective as she focuses on various items like a pine cone, a dandelion, the grass, the sky, the clouds, her car, and their house. Each of these elements is captured with the innocence and curiosity of a young child exploring the world.

The most heartwarming moment comes at the end of the video. Zoey turns the camera towards her mom and shares her feelings with a joyful declaration: “And there’s my beautiful mom. She’s the best mom. I love her so much, and she’s the best mom in the whole world.” Delphine’s heart swelled with emotion as she heard these words, evidence of the years of hard work and dedication she had put into supporting her daughter’s development.

The video highlighted Zoey’s progress and captured a moment of pure, unfiltered love. She commented, “With the help of a simple camera, words came out more easily when she was alone and having fun. And she managed to express in her own way all that love she has for me in her heart but would never be able to tell me this directly.” Delphine truly knew just how special this moment was.

The video is a beautiful reminder of the simple joys in life and the profound love between a mother and her child. Indeed, the greatest treasures are sometimes found in the most unexpected places.

Psalm 127:3 “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.”

Tears Flow as Young Man Delivers Emotional Speech at Sister’s Wedding

Who says wedding speeches should be left to the adults? Grab a tissue and be prepared for tears to flow as a young man delivers an emotional speech at his big sister’s wedding. Toasts are often a way to share how special the bride or groom is in the lives of loved ones. Speeches usually contain a little humor, and some fun commentary, and sometimes they are incredibly heartfelt.

No one expected 12-year-old Benji to cause tears. I’m sure everyone, including the bride and big sister Cindy Villanueva, expected a speech about the years of sibling rivalry. But what happens next brought tears to every eye in the room.

The little guy was nervous as he held the microphone and looked at his speech. He started his speech by stating he noticed a change at home ever since his big sis moved out. “Ever since Cindy moved out, I noticed a huge change. Now, when I wake up, there is no one awake. I used to talk to Cindy every morning even if she was working,” he said

Benji couldn’t help but share how special their mornings were. “She would still take the time to talk to me. Then, when I could come back from school, she would ask me, ‘How was school?’”

Now, this is where the speech melts hearts and fills your eyes with sweet tears; Benji said,  “I told her everything because she was like a best friend to me.” Even the bride and the groom began wiping the tears from their eyes. Benji became emotional, too, as his voice shook; he continued, “She always understood me and gave advice on what to do in school. Me and Cindy used to make cookies all the time, and ever since she moved out I can’t make cookies without her being there.”

But then Benji shares the real gift he’s received now that his sister is married. He gets to go to Cindy and Jose’s house to make cookies together. Here, he not only continued to share a special bond with with his big sister, but he also found a new big brother in Jose. Their house now feels like home to Benji and he’s thankful his big sis found such a great guy.

What a beautiful message! Benji may be just a preteen, but he already knows how precious family is. We hope you enjoyed this sweet, beautiful moment.

Therapy Pony Brings Comfort to Hospital Patient in Emotional Visit

Imagine the transformative power of a small, fluffy pony trotting into a hospital room, bringing joy and comfort that brightens even the darkest day. A therapy pony brings comfort to hospital patients during an emotional visit.

While therapy dogs are well-known for their comforting presence, therapy ponies are making waves in the world of animal-assisted therapy, thanks to the dedicated work of Sarah Woodland. With her heart set on spreading joy, Sarah brings her charming ponies to visit those in need of a little extra cheer, including patients in hospitals and residents in nursing homes. Her ponies, often adorned with cute bows and outfits, add an extra touch of delight to their visits.

In a touching video shared online, Sarah captured the heartwarming moment when her ponies, Tinks and Poppy, met an elderly hospital patient. The small horses, dressed in adorable attire, trotted into the hospital room and immediately brightened the atmosphere. The patient’s reaction was priceless—pure joy and amazement.

As the elderly woman gently reached out to stroke Poppy, her face lit up with tears of happiness. The serene connection she shared with the pony was a poignant reminder of animals' profound impact on our well-being. Sarah, who was kneeling beside Poppy, looked on with evident emotion.

Animals bring us comfort and joy in simple and profound ways. Their presence can calm our anxieties, offering unconditional love and companionship that brightens even the darkest days. Whether it's the soothing purr of a cat, a dog's wagging tail, or a horse's gentle nuzzle, animals have a unique ability to make us feel seen, understood, and cherished. They remind us of the beauty in everyday moments and teach us the value of kindness and connection, enriching our lives with their playful spirits and loyal hearts.

Sarah’s dedication goes beyond the visits themselves. She also ensures her ponies are impeccably groomed, sharing a heartwarming behind-the-scenes look at their preparation. The love and care she invests in her therapy ponies highlight the profound difference kindness and compassion can make in the lives of others.

1 Corinthians 16:14 "Let all that you do be done in love."

Domestics Violence

God does not approve of domestics violence. God approves of love. If you are in a situation of abuse or know someone who is and needs help. This video can help you understand on how to get help. Even though you may not feel it, but God is with you and will never forsake you in hard times. Prayer helps and he will lead you out of the shadows.

When Life is Bigger Than We Can Manage.

You’re in good company if what you’re facing feels too big. This is exactly how Moses felt when God called him to release an entire nation from slavery. Moses said, “I don’t have what it takes” And God said, “I’ll give you what you need. Your inadequacy is not an excuse.” (My summary, but see Exodus 4:10-12 ☺️) Moses’s story reminded me that we all feel inadequate to things in front of us. And that’s often the best place to be. Because Scripture tells us that when we are weak, God is strong. 📖But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV So friend, if what’s in front of you today feels too big for you, ask God for help. He will give you everything you need to do whatever he’s calling you to. God is very good at using us when we’re at the end of ourselves. 🤍 Keep going. God’s got you.

Community Rallies in Big Way After Thief Steals Money from Children's Lemonade Stand

One community rallied together in a big way to show support after a thief stole money from a children’s lemonade stand.

All children do specific activities regardless of the era or technological advancements. Most kids enjoy playing outside, riding bikes with friends and, at times, getting into general mischief. Kids are going to be kids.

One project that all kids do at some point during their childhood is opening and operating a lemonade stand. For many kids, it’s their first attempt at earning money apart from their weekly allowance from Mom and Dad. Sure, they may not make much, but it’s a worthwhile endeavor that teaches kids a thing or two and gets them out of the house for a while.

A clip posted on social media tells the story of two siblings in Virginia who have been setting up and running a lemonade stand during the summertime for years. However, one of the children’s customers swiped their money and drove off while they were making a cup of lemonade for him.

What kind of person steals money from children?

After word of the theft spread, the community rallied to show the two children support. The children were soon overwhelmed with customers. Neighbors, police officers and even firefighters stopped by to purchase a cup of lemonade or two.

The video also mentions that the individual who stole the child’s money has been taken into custody. But instead of being angry or upset about him taking their honest, hard-earned money, the children have taken a completely different route. They are offering the man forgiveness for his nefarious deed.

“It made me pretty mad at first, but then I chose to forgive him,” the young lady said in an interview.

Colossians 3:13 “Being gentle to one another and having forgiveness for one another, if anyone has done wrong to his brother, even as the Lord had forgiveness for you.”

The Lord Answers Family's Prayer With Unexpected Kindness From Neighbor

The Lord answered one family's prayer for help with unexpected kindness from a concerned and loving neighbor.

Life is often a series of unexpected events for anyone who may not know yet. Sometimes, those surprises are good and joyous and cause celebration. But other times, they are of the unwelcome, painful and heartbreaking variety.

Thankfully, when life's dark valleys and storms arrive, the Lord has placed caring and loving people in our lives. We can rely upon these individuals to help us through whatever we're enduring. These people are godsends and sometimes even literal answers to prayer. That was precisely what happened to one Tennessee family suffering and going through one of life's trials.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one woman, Tiara Leonard, spotted something unusual with her neighbors. She noticed that the family's car had not left their driveway in weeks and it had been a while since their lawn had been mowed. She also learned that the family was going through some medical issues.

That's when Tiara reached out for help on behalf of the Todd family. She wanted to do something to give them a helping hand during their time of need. Tiara then approached the Todds’ house with the help of a Memphis, Tennessee, television station and an anonymous donor, but there was no answer.

Several days later, Tiara tried the Todd residence again, and this time, Tammy Dodd answered the door. But little did Tiara know that her help was a quick answer to prayer.

"Me and my husband got together," Tammy said. "I woke him up at two or 3 o'clock in the morning, and I said, 'Let's pray. Let's ask God to help us through this process.' And He touched your heart to think about me even when family didn't, and I appreciate this."

Our acts of kindness and love could be the Lord’s way of answering the prayer of someone who so desperately needs it.

Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you."
