Hagar and Ishmael

When Abram and Sarai still don't have any children of their own, Sarai comes up with a plan that makes matters worse. We also discuss how children are always from the Lord and how He alone is responsible for conception. Also, taking responsibility for our actions and what to do when we grow impatient. How to discern God's call to action & when to wait and trust His plan. Hagar finds out that God sees, hears, and is Living.

Deadly Visions

Is it possible to talk to dead people? Is it dangerous? Can dead people even talk and if not, who are people talking to when communicating with the deceased?

A Weak Conscience – 1 Corinthians 8:12 - 9:6 – Bible Discussion – Pastor D. A. Waite

A Weak Conscience – 1 Corinthians 8:12 - 9:6 – Bible Discussion – Pastor D. A. Waite

But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? 2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. 3 Mine answer to them that do examine me is this, 4 Have we not power to eat and to drink? 5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? 6 Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?

Christ’s Unlimited Atonement – 1 John 2:1-14 – Pastor D. A. Waite – BFTBC

Christ’s Unlimited Atonement – 1 John 2:1-14 – Pastor D. A. Waite – BFTBC

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. 12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. 13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. 14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

Colossians review

bible

Abram's Own Son

God promises Abram that he will have a son of his very own. God says he's righteous just for his faith. We also are righteous because of our faith and not our works. God tells Abram the rest of the story concerning him and his family. We too know the rest of our story, if we have faith like Abraham. God gives us an eternal inheritance with Him.

We're in a battle in this world. We may not see it, we might forget it's there. But the enemy would love nothing more than to fill our minds with discouragement and defeat.
