Acts 10:7-15

7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually; 8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa. 9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Salvation: The Where?

The Daily Pulse (Saturday, February 7, 2014): So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle. John 19:16-18 (NIV)

Keep The Faith

"Keep the faith." In WHAT? Knowing God's definition of "faith" is critical to to knowing God Himself. Hint: biblical faith is not superstition, as used by religious people asking you to believe something illogical and irrational: "Take it on faith." Faith is simply TRUST in a rational promise. It is "taking God's Word" for it.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
"Who do you say that I am?" Jesus asked his disciples that question halfway through his public ministry after the polls showed a dismal answer from the public. Jesus was "running for Messiah," but few Israelites recognized that. Jesus is now asking that same question to each human on the planet.

Positional Truth (10) - Knowing PT through the Revelation of the Spirit

We must KNOW the TRUTH of who we are in Christ to experience its reality (John 8:31-32), and only the SPIRIT can REVEAL this TRUTH to us. As we commune with Him, we ask Him to (1) reveal to us the Truth, and (2) help us put it into practice. As we act on it, trusting in the Spirit, the reality of our New Man (spirit) is manifested.

Jude 1-13

1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called: 2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication . . .

Super Bowl Sunday 2015!

The Daily Pulse (Sunday, February 1, 2015): On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:16 (NIV)

Jesus Christ, aka LAMBO

Beginning with the first reference in Scripture to Jesus Christ (Gen. 3:15), the two-fold nature of his ministry--suffering and glory--is thereafter set forth. In his first coming to Israel, he was the Lamb of God, whose blood was shed for the sin of the world, the "man of sorrows." More than anyone who has ever lived, he suffered injustice at the hands of wicked men. Jesus knew from the Old Testament that if he endured that suffering and death, God would raise him from the dead and send him back to save Israel, this time as the Lion of Judah, aka "LAMBO." In this drama, which is still playing out, the bad guys do not win. Jesus Christ will once and for all destroy all evil people, as well as evil itself, Satan, and that is part of the Christian's hope. His interrupting the Devil's status quo in his earthly ministry, and then overcoming death itself, was a preview of coming attractions: HE WINS, and so do we!
