How To Get The Holy Spirit: Acts Survey (Steven Miller) 2 of 2

The Pentecostal, Charismatic and other heretical, non-dispensational groups pretend that we should get our doctrine from Acts 2:38 or other early Acts passages regarding salvation (Soteriology) and the doctrine of the Holy Spirit (Pneumatology). In this study, Steven Miller shows that such cannot be the case.

Christmas Prophecies I (2 of 2)

The birth of Jesus Christ, regardless of date (not given in Scripture, exactly), is a FUNDAMENTAL doctrine of the Christian faith. And the prophecies are not only astounding but blow all other "faiths", religions, holy books out of the water while representing only a small portion of the entire Bible Prophecy program.

In this study, we present an introduction, seven of 14 prophecies and some closing thoughts, along with Q & A discussion at the end of part 2. Look for the second half of our study with, "Christmas Prophecies II" where we will answer a couple of important questions posed by seekers and skeptics, then study the final 7 of the 14 major Christmas Prophecies.

Wandering Stars – Jude 1:13-15 – BFTBC – Pastor D. A. Waite

13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Ten Vital New Testament Commands – 1 Thessalonians 5:15-28 – Pastor D. A. Waite – BFTBC
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us. 26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. 27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. 28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

The Mouth Of The Ox – 1 Corinthians 9:1-9 – Pastor D. A. Waite – BFTBC

Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? 2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. 3 Mine answer to them that do examine me is this, 4 Have we not power to eat and to drink? 5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? 6 Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working? 7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? 8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? 9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?

The Fourth Kingdom (Daniel 7:23-28) 1 of 2

We close out our study of Daniel 7 by looking closely at the Antichrist as head of the Fourth Kingdom, noting how that we can see the Biblical commentary on this passage clearly in several Revelation passages.

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel; 2 And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD. 3 And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering; 4 Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you. 5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you. 7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded. 8 Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
