Specifically, we see that the church grew significantly on the basis of its theology (doctrine), its community (fellowship) and the degree to which it prayed for God's leading.<br /><br /><br />"And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles." The life of babies and infants demonstrates this - that we carry the "imago dei," or image of God in man.<br /><br />But if that is true, then how come babies are born with sicknesses, genetic defects, or other issues? If we're wonderfully made, then how do we explain miscarriages? Fearfully And Wonderfully Made (The Image Of God In Man)
