• What are the stones in your life that you have?

• Are they a Memorial of God’s blessing or memorial to your sadness?

• When God shows up do you have an attitude of Gratitude for the blessing or do you attitude of victimization

• Every Christian should be a Living Memorial Stone!

• That our children, our spouse, our co-workers would look at us just as the Children in our passage would ask what is the reason for the memorial stones?

• Those around us should ask similar questions about us...

• Are you LIVING MEMORIAL or are you a tombstone?

• What has God done in your life that you have praised Him for?

• God gives us visuals to be memorials of His blessing.

o In Exodus –the blood in the doorway for Passover

o In Matthew- the wine and bread in communion

o In John- the nails, holes in Jesus hand and His Resurrection

This video jam titled "See Him as He Is" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "See Him as He Is".This sermon jam draws a clear line between what is true Christianity as Christ taught it and what is not. We see through the writings of the Apostle John that a true Christian has the seed of Christ planted within them when they are born again and this hope grows and increases as one becomes more and more like Christ. It is a living hope that continues as one walks by faith and God empowers believers with the Holy Spirit. At the same time John speaks of those who do not receive Christ and are described by the apostle as having the wrath of God upon them. Christ came to free people from their sins, to set up His Church, and set up His kingdom. Those that do not receive Jesus Christ as Lord will not be changed and therefore have no hope for eternal life. In John's first epistle the apostle shows his readers that the plan of God is the purification of sinners and that those who sin are of the devil. When one sins they no longer display the holiness of God. Christ came to free us from sin, He came to empower people to obey the commands of God and bear fruit. All Christian must be dowers of the word, remain obedient to their heavenly father, and abide in Christ.

An old Vineyard song, this is Lincoln Brewster's rendition. A pretty simple song lyrically, but it springs from Paul's words in Philippians 3:7-11. I quoted that passage in the middle of my video, so you'll have to watch the video to find out what it says (or you'll have to pull out your Bible, either way, it's all good). The song was written by Marc James.

In Deuteronomy 31:6 God tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. This Matt Redman song pretty much echos that promise - "never once did we ever walk alone, never once did You leave us on our own." Yes, You are faithful, God.

Remi was abandoned on the beach where he sat alone and cried for three weeks. And then his happy day came.

The word "redeem" means to buy something back, to return something to your possession. In the Christian sense it represents Jesus' sacrifice to free us from the bonds of sin. This song by Big Daddy Weave talks about how Jesus' sacrifice on the cross has redeemed us and made us new and whole. 1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." So, redemption starts with Jesus' forgiveness of our sins, if we are willing to confess them. And when we do, 2 Corinthians 5:17 says "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

A friend of mine at Celebrate Recovery asked me to make a YouTube video for the song "Changed" by Rascal Flatts. Even though I was a big country music fan for many years I had never heard the song before, since nowadays I listen mostly to Christian music. But "Changed" is a country song with a Christian message. It is especially meaningful to me right now since I have just begun a recovery program for alcohol abuse. In these first 90 days of recovery there have been some big "changes", for which I am very grateful. A lot of the lyrics in this song are my past story and my current story. Thank You, God, that now I have "eyes wide open".

A sure-fire #1 song if I ever heard one. Catchy, with a couple of stories, and with a message about acts of love. Co-written by Jason Gray and Jason Ingram (is it my imagination of does Jason Ingram co-write 75% of all popular Christian songs?) I used some pictures from several ministries at my church, like mission trips, AWANA, and Vacation Bible School. That's my lovely wife surrounded by the four Guatemalan girls.

"Godlike or Gorilla" is an intelligent, hard-hitting video that gives you a provocative glimpse into the nature of Man and his relationship with God. You’ve heard that claim before, but there actually is a simple way to look at yourself, (kind of like looking in a mirror), and discovering some very basic and important things about your personality and the world you live in. If you’re open to some uncommon, common-sense ideas, you’ll appreciate this video.

I heard this song on Volume 111 of the SongDiscovery CD that comes with my Worship Leader magazine subscription. Brad and Rebekah (Bichsel) are a couple from the midwest who have singing together for over a decade. This is a great song to open a worship service with. Pretty simple message, doesn't require a lot of thinking, but puts one in a worshipful mood right away.
