20 People Rush To Lift Car Off Of Motorcyclist

Twenty people rush to lift a car off of a motorcyclist, Alex James. He had been out riding in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when a distracted driver hit him from behind. This heart-stopping video will restore your faith in humanity that there are good samaritans out there.

In the video, you’ll find Alex turning a corner with a friend on the back of his motorcycle; as they round the corner, a car hits them from behind. The woman on the back of the back feels the impact and rolls to get ground as she scrambles to get out of oncoming traffic.

At the same time, Alex is pinned under the car still on his motorcycle! Those who watched the accident unfold realize there is no time to waste. Immediately several people jump into action to try to lift the car while another samaritan contacts emergency services.

As bystanders watch, more and more jump in to lift the car off of Alex. Within a minute, twenty people are working together to give the car a good ‘heave-ho’ to lift the car enough to pull Alex out from underneath.

Alex was released from the hospital and he is not only thankful for those who jumped in to save his life, but he’s also ‘grateful to the man upstairs’ for sparing his life and protecting him from what could’ve been the end of his life. Alex also said that his bike can be replaced but he can’t.

He knows he is incredibly blessed to live and tell the story of how strangers helped him in his time of need. We may not know what the day holds or what is around the corner, but God does and he is there protecting us and sending help every step of the way.

John 15:13-14 “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.”

Impromptu Performance Of 'Dancing On My Own' From Subway Passengers

May we never forget we were created to worship and may we never forget how the power of music brings us together which you can clearly see in this video!  An impromptu performance of ‘Dancing On My Own’ from subway passengers goes viral!

No one knows what prompted the sing-along, no one knows how it got started either. But what we do know is there were hundreds of people waiting for the subway when a song and dance broke out. I’m guessing it’s because Robyn’s song, “Dancing On Own,” is about watching your ex moving on.

Even though it’s about the heartache of watching someone else move on, it’s relatable because we’ve all been in relationships that weren’t meant to be. The catchy pop ballad was sung with cheer and unity and even a few of the New York bystanders danced a little jig too!

The video was then posted online where it went viral with over a million views and thousands of comments!

One person commented, “As soon as enough people sing together, it doesn't really matter whether the individual can sing. It always sounds good, and even the worst singer gets carried along and can feel proud about him- or herself.”

Another person added, “As a New Yorker myself, it's so rare to see New Yorkers having fun together as a community, especially in the subway stations.”

One other viewer summed up the entire moment with their comment, “As a New Yorker myself, it's so rare to see New Yorkers having fun together as a community, especially in the subway stations.”

We hope this video not only brings a smile to your face but may it remind you that an impromptu sing-along is good for the soul…and maybe those standing around you too!

90-Year-Old Army Veterans Share Heartwarming Reunion

This short clip of two 90-year-old army veterans sharing a heartwarming reunion is sure to touch many hearts! In fact, that’s the focus of all the video clips you’ll find at “Poke My Heart,” a YouTube channel whose mission is to share videos that “celebrate[s] moments that make your day brighter.” This one certainly will!

Watch as this pair of Airborne Army Veterans reunite in Normandy where they fought together nearly 8 decades ago. Dressed in semi-casual military garb, the gentlemen wear pins, medals, badges, patches, cords, and other regalia on their uniforms. Both are equipped with canes, and one holds a cigar between two fingers on his left hand. They sport garrison caps, which are also called side caps, flight caps, or wedge caps, depending on the wearer’s country of origin.

While both World War II paratroopers appear to be in great shape, the man facing the camera looks a bit sprier. He transfers his cane to his cigar-holding hand and strides open-armed and all smiles into an embrace with the man whose back is to the camera. It is a beautiful moment!

Sharing the experience of war must be like nothing else. Serving one’s country in such high-stakes situations undoubtedly creates a bond that is unique and different from any other. There is a small crowd of family and friends around the two; they clap and take pictures. But, as the veterans shake hands and share a short exchange shown here, they look like best friends—as if they could sit and talk for hours without missing a beat after so very many years apart.

The D-Day operation began on June 6, 1944 , also known as Operation Overlord, and utilized land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became recognized as the largest military invasion in human history. On that day, 160,000 troops arrived in Normandy, and, by the end of August 1944, over two million Allied troops were in France. The Battle of Normandy was critical in the ultimate defeat of the German forces and the victory by allied forces in World War II.

These two men represent bravery and heroism, character and patriotism! What a joy it is to see them reach an advanced age and share this sweet reunion with one another! Thank you, sirs, for your service!

9-Year-Old Stuns With “Wizard Of Oz” Dance Audition

Check out this pint-sized Dorothy, the 9-year-old who stuns judges with her “Wizard of Oz” dance audition on Britain’s Got Talent! She is one cutie patootie!

Miss Mischa Palor appears before BGT’s judges sporting a huge kid smile, and bright white teeth of various sizes and shapes. She’s wearing a blue checked dress adorned with two glittery, red bows, and her hair is in braids. She tells them that she is from Birmingham. When the audience applauds her home city, Mischa giggles in the most adorable way!

Simon asks Mischa what she dreams of doing one day. Mischa says that she hopes to sing, act, or be a BGT Judge. How about that! The little charmer is cute and smart!

And, though singing is one of Mischa’s aspirations, she tells Simon that she is going to dance for them. He wishes her luck, and Mischa turns around, scampers toward the back of the stage, and gets into position.

Amanda Holden’s recording of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” starts and Mischa impresses Judge Amanda right away with her first jump. Mischa’s moves are graceful and flowing, her dance beautifully conveying the story of daydreaming Dorothy.

All of a sudden, though, the storm comes! We hear thunder and see lightning strike! The judges are startled, and Mischa’s routine instantly switches from sweet to sassy! She’s “not in Kansas anymore.”

Mischa delivers a series of twirls, jumps, kicks, fist pumps, and a front walkover—a merging of hip hop moves and gymnastics. Judy Garland never did it as Mischa does! Synchronizing her moves expertly to the music, Mischa drops into a perfect split as the last note lands, and she’s still smiling ear-to-ear!

As Mischa stands to hear from the panel, Simon tells her that she is the “happiest contestant” that they have ever had! Simon, Amanda, David, and Alesha are smitten with Mischa. We think there may be a couple of handsome lads in the audience that are likewise afflicted! The judges give Mischa four “yesses,” and she claps her little hands in front of her and covers her mouth in excitement. She leaves the stage waving and smiling!

Keep waving and smiling, Miss Mischa! Those two simple actions will make life so much sweeter for you and those you meet along the way!

“A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.” Proverbs 15:13

Unconscious Florida Pilot Saved By Unlikely Passenger Says 'God Was With Them'

From thousands of feet in the sky to landing safely on the ground, it’s a miracle story of epic proportions. An unconscious Florida pilot was saved by an unlikely passenger who says, ‘God was with them.’

Kenneth Allen was flying two passengers back from the Bahamas when he knew something was off. He began to feel ill, his head was pounding and he began to get light headed. Kenneth tried to shake it off and focus on getting Russ Franck and Darren Harrison back to Florida in his Cessna 208 plane safely to the ground when he fell unresponsive behind the plane's controls.

Now if you haven’t had the opportunity to fly a small airplane, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Flying takes years of training and education. Even then, it takes experience too. When Kenneth passed out, neither Russ nor Darren had any experience.

But Darren remained calm and contacted air traffic control about the stunning emergency situation. Thankfully not only was Darren able to “fly” the plane safely to the ground, he was able to get Kenneth the help he needed.

As things seemingly took a turn for the worse, the medical team didn’t think Kenneth was going to make it because he was suffering from an acute aortic dissection. They gave Kenneth a chance to FaceTime his wife to say goodbye but that wasn’t the end of this story.

Kenneth made it through surgery to repair his heart and less than a month later, he was able to thank Darren and Russ for getting the plane on the ground. He commented, “No doubt God was with them, guiding them every step of the way.”

God’s presence and guiding hands definitely kept this plane in the air and got them to the ground. It was a miracle story made of miracle moments.

Precious Children's Choir Sings 'Stand Up' In Honor Of Hero Parents

In this sweet audition, we see a group of brave kids celebrate the sacrifices of their parents. A precious children's choir sings 'Stand Up' in honor of their hero parents.

We see children in white and red adorably standing on the Britain’s Got Talent stage. A little girl begins to sing in the sweetest voice. The entire choir starts singing together and it is adorable.

Their lyrics say that they are proud of what their parents do as they stand confidently with smiles on their faces. As they sing about standing together there are pictures of each individual choir member with his or her parents behind them on a slide show.

The ages range from kindergarten through middle school and each one is passionate and enjoying this opportunity. The chorus sings out and changes keys. They use arm motions and end their performance with excitement.

The audience cheers loudly. All four of the judges and the audience stand in ovation as children tear up on the stage and family members in the audience cheer them on. The judges rave about their performance being courageous and emotional. They tell them that they are proud of them.

These kids showed great bravery in their performance, but ultimately with their lives. It  is a great sacrifice to have family members who serve in the military and these children live this every day. They are little heroes.

When we think about sacrifices that are made to protect freedom and safety in a nation, it reminds us that God sees us and cares for us. Jesus is our greatest Hero and He has already fought for us and won. We can celebrate Him and stand up for Him each and every day.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1

Judges FaceTime Contestant's Mom After His 'Better Days' Audition Blows Everyone Away

Prepare to view incredible talent. In this video, judges FaceTime a contestant's mom after his 'Better Days' audition which blows everyone away.

At the start of this video, Lee Collinson FaceTimes his mom to tell her that he is about to go on stage and he is so nervous. As he introduces himself he shares that he is from England.

He shares that he is singing “Better Days” in honor of coming out of COVID. He lost a friend during the hard times. As he prepares to sing, he is clearly nervous.

Lee starts singing and his voice is rich in tone. He is very easy to listen to and leaves you on the edge of your seat about what he will do next. As he sings, his voice is pure, confident, and natural.

The judges and audience members clap along and smile as he shines in his performance and shares encouragement that better days are coming. The message of the song is moving and powerful after some very difficult days in our world.

At the end of the performance, the judges and audience give a standing ovation.

The judges rave about how incredible this audition was and ask if they can call his mom with him. He walks over to the judges and FaceTimes her to hear all four judges give him yeses. It is an emotional moment for Lee as the judges include his mother in a different time zone across the ocean in his results.

As we reflect on Lee’s song choice, we know as believers there will be trials, but we can take heart because Jesus has overcome the world. We know that our future in heaven is secure and we will have better days.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Teen Saxophone Player Was Bullied For His Looks, Now He's A Golden Buzzer Winner

It is so important that we do not listen to the voices of others, but only allow God to define us. In this video, a teen saxophone player was bullied for his looks, now he’s a golden buzzer winner.

While being interviewed, Avery Dixon shares that it was not his choice to audition because he did not believe that he was very good. His mom signed him up to audition for America’s Got Talent and pushed him to try it.

There is a sweet moment before he goes on stage when his mom tells Avery, “You worked hard for this and you deserve to be here.” Her encouragement of her son is inspiring.

As he speaks with the judges, he is kind and witty. Avery is from Atlanta, Georgia. Avery shares that he got into playing the saxophone because his voice was different and his looks and his nickname in elementary school was “hammerhead” since he was born prematurely and has knots on his head.

It is so heartbreaking to hear where he has come from. In his darkest moments of contemplating suicide, he started to learn the saxophone and focused on something positive. He says that if he won he would provide a better place for his family to live so he could practice his instrument.

Avery begins his performance and he is absolutely spectacular. He is an incredible instrumentalist and performer. He plays with style and grooves. All of the audience end up on their feet and the judges too.

He is fantastic. It is emotional watching him after hearing his story. When everyone cheers and stands, Avery cries in shock. The judges tell him that they love him and that he will be a world changer.

They tell him that he plays with his heart. As the judges are voting, the host comes out and hits the golden buzzer for Avery. Everyone cheers at this victory.

People might tell us who they think we are, but we need to be reminded that God defines us. We do not have to believe the lies of the enemy, we can overcome evil with good because of Jesus.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21

London Community Gospel Choir Sings 'Faith (Can Move A Mountain)' On BGT.

This is a powerful performance. In this video, the London Community Gospel Choir sings 'Faith (Can Move A Mountain)' on BGT.

At the start of this video, we see a talented woman surrounded by a choir of people all in black clothing with sequence. They have smiles on their faces and joy radiating as they audition for Britain’s Got Talent. They sing in worship to the Lord and have everyone in the audience clapping and dancing along.

The lead vocalist has an incredible voice that brings the house down. The choir has great zeal, harmonies, and passion. The instrumentalists are even dancing around while they play their instruments.

The performance is exhilarating and brings out the joy of the Lord. At the end of the audition, everyone cheers for this stellar gospel song.

As the judges share their thoughts, they tell the London Community Gospel Choir that they have seen a lot of gospel groups on the show, but theirs is the epitome of what a gospel choir should be. The judges talk about the power of the audition.

As they do, choir members have tears streaming down their eyes in excitement. You can imagine how hard they must have worked to get there as a team. They are told that they are the real deal and amazing. One judge says that having faith should be celebratory.

Watching this gospel choir reminds us of the impact that faith in Jesus makes on others. It is contagious and we should not hide our joy, but share it with the world in hopes that they will know Christ.

“Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.” Philemon 1:7

Teens Share Anti-Bullying Message Through Powerful Shadow Dance

This could very well be one of the most uplifting and inspirational performances as teens share an anti-bullying message through a powerful shadow dance. On Britain's Got Talent, the group called ‘Attraction’ brought the audience and the judges to tears.

The group of teens performed a tear-jerking rendition of Annie which touched on the dangers of bullying and social media as they used their silhouettes to spell out God’s universal message to “be kind.” We don’t know what struggles or battles another person is facing and we all know have moments when it’s too easy to listen to the lies we tell ourselves or what others tell us: ugly, lonely, stupid, and feeling like a loser.

Yet, the kids of Attraction showed the world how to combat those lies. We do it together through hope, love, and kindness. That’s how we combat hate and bullying–if we stand up together to fight for those who are being harassed and bullied. The group not only moved the audience and judges to tears but also received a standing ovation as their message touched the hearts of those who watched the performance.

Their stance on anti-bullying is a reminder that the world needs to take to heart with so much animosity, division, and hate crimes filling the news–we need a breath of fresh air–a breath to remind ourselves just how powerful kindness truly is.

Other viewers who watched the performance added their comments. One viewer wrote, “This was just amazing and so very emotional! Great job juniors!” Another viewer was stunned and posted, “Amazing performance, very important message. BE KIND. Thank you, Attraction Junior!!!” Another added, “Excellent. All-important theme nowadays!  Who's gonna win? You! Good luck!”

We couldn’t agree more. What a beautiful way to show the world we can conquer all things through love. May this group continue to create awareness about the power of kindness!

Back To The Future Star Turns To God After Drugs And Alcohol Take Over Her Life

Claudia loved acting. She felt like she was able to reach deep within and express parts of herself on camera because when the cameras were off, her alcoholic mother would tell her she was nothing. “My fun and joy was when the camera was on and I got to be a person,” she said.

When she talked about her teen years with her mother, she recalled that honestly thought it was a normal thing to hear the phrase, “I regret the day you were born,” which her mother made sure Claudia heard often. As if that wasn’t enough of a challenge to navigate as a teenage girl, Claudia also had to deal with mother calling her fat.

At fourteen Claudia couldn’t take the emotional abuse from her mother anymore. She wanted to end it all because she truly felt like she did not deserve to find joy or happiness or even breathe. Claudia overdosed on her mother’s prescription pills but thankfully it didn’t take her life.

For the next few years, everything in her life would remain the same until she was cast in a show, Herbie The Love Bug with Dean Jones. It was then her life would begin to take root in someone greater than herself. Dean shared the Gospel with Claudia and learned what God’s saving grace truly meant.

“It made all the difference in the world. He talked to me about the hole that was inside of me and if I don’t fill it with God, if I don’t fill it with Jesus Christ then it’ll be filled with men, and drugs, and problems.” Then one day at lunch with Dean, she said the sinner’s prayer and became saved.

As her career raced towards fame with Back To The Future, her heart raced towards God when she found out her mother had been diagnosed with cancer. Claudia left showbiz because she knew in her heart it was the right thing to do.

Eventually cancer would claim her mother’s life while the Holy Spirit went to work claiming Claudia's heart to change how she saw herself. Through her walk with Jesus, he began to heal her heart and teach her that she was not a mistake.

Today she runs a clothing store and still makes small appearances on shows. But the best part of her life is how Christ healed her brokenness and restored her life from the inside out. She is looking forward to the next chapter as she knows God is writing for her and she can’t wait to see the future.

John 16:23-24 “In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.  Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Opera Singer Brings The Goosebumps With 'Now We Are Free'

Maxwell Thorpe is taking Britain’s Got Talent by storm with his powerhouse voice. In this video, the opera singer brings the goosebumps with “Now We are Free.”

At the start of this phenomenal performance, Maxwell is on the stage in front of fire in the darkness. He is singing “Now We Are Free” from Gladiator. This performance is emotional and intense. He has great vocal control and passion with his song as fire and fake embers fly behind him. The judges and audience are intrigued and in the palm of his hand.

Maxwell sings with such passion as if he is in battle and fire. He is vocally building throughout the song and keeps you wondering what he will do next. He hits the high notes, soaring as if it is nothing.

As he holds notes with natural vibrato, the judges are smiling. He ends the song in almost a vocal cry. The performance is exquisite. When he finishes, the crowd cheers loudly and all of the judges stand in applause. Maxwell looks and performs like a professional.

After his semi-final song, all of the judges agree that Maxwell deserves to go to the finals and that he has an incredible voice, an amazing story of hard work, and he has captivated the audience once again. Maxwell may have started out singing on the street corners, but now he is headed for exciting opportunities.

When we think about his story and the way that he takes us on his journey from being unnoticed and working so hard to now being seen and growing as a performer, it reminds us of what Christ has done for us.

We were all sinners headed for eternal destruction yet, Jesus came and died and rose for us so that we could become co-heirs with Christ. We went from enemies of God to His adopted children.

“Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Romans 8:17
