Stress rarely arrives all at once.
It builds gradually.
One deadline becomes another.
One unexpected expense leads to another concern.
One difficult conversation lingers in your mind long after it ends.
Eventually, your thoughts feel tangled.
Your body remains tense.
Even moments meant for rest become filled with planning, worrying, or replaying conversations.
Many of us have become so accustomed to stress that we mistake it for productivity or responsibility.
But God never intended anxiety to become our permanent companion.
Jesus invited weary people to come to Him—not because life would suddenly become easy, but because His presence changes the way we carry life's burdens.
He does not always remove every stressful circumstance immediately.
Often, He begins by calming the heart that has been carrying too much for too long.
God's peace is not dependent upon perfect circumstances.
It is rooted in His faithful presence.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
— Matthew 11:28
